Summary

Benny’s tech-savvy girlfriend Jane has recruited Feng Yifei, a Chinese spy, to help her hack into a massive German defense company。 But Jane’s real motive is to blackmail the Chinese government by exposing their operations and hang Feng out to dry as a scapegoat。 The People’s Liberation Army isn’t going to let this slide, and it’s not long before they hire local mercenaries to wipe out Feng and anyone that gets in the way, including the crew of the Black Lagoon!

For me there wasn't years and years of wait between vols 9 and 10 because I started reading the series just this year, so that doesn't affect my opinion one way or another。 This volume felt less intense。 Not just because there wasn't that much shooting/action in this one but for example Revy conversed normally almost all the time。 So little cussing, what? Hahaha。The new arc seems okay but I'm a bit puzzled by Jane, she didn't seem this way when she was introduced。 Well, let's see what her deal。。 For me there wasn't years and years of wait between vols 9 and 10 because I started reading the series just this year, so that doesn't affect my opinion one way or another。 This volume felt less intense。 Not just because there wasn't that much shooting/action in this one but for example Revy conversed normally almost all the time。 So little cussing, what? Had to wait entirely too long for this volume。 Good as always, but dammit, I'm losing my patience with Rei Hiroe! Had to wait entirely too long for this volume。 Good as always, but dammit, I'm losing my patience with Rei Hiroe! 。。。more

So happy a new book finally came out! I was certain the series had ended。

Now we just have to wait five years for the conclusion。 Damn good stuff though!

Lamentablemente la historia queda abierta y a esperar que alguna vez el autor siga dibujandola。 Una lástima

At last! Volume 10! And it's great。 Super-great。 However it's a wee bit of a tease, being the first part of what I'm guessing is gonna be a two-part story。 Still, we get a great new character (Feng) who makes an interesting comparison with Rock as being someone who was abandoned by her employers。 A fun and menacing trio of "bros", your typical Black Lagoon gallows humor and some realistic cyber-espionage。 Starts off a wee bit slow but delivers in terms of character。 My only real complaint is tha At last! Finally, after a few long years of waiting since Vol。 9, I finally get to read an official print! I never even finished the fan-scans because I'd rather read the real thing。 Now that I've got it (I got a Kobo version for my desktop), I'm glad I waited。Anyway。 It's a good start to a new arc。 One thing I noticed by the time I finished this volume is that it seems to be a bit tamer in comparison to the other volumes。 Revy hardly seems to swear, which was especially weird。 Maybe it was the version I Finally, after a few long years of waiting since Vol。 9, I finally get to read an official print! Oh I have missed you, Black Lagoon。Good book。 We get some character development in Rock, who's dealing with the fall out of Roberta's latest visit, while Greenback Jane reappears。 We also meet our cover heroine, who reminds us of Rock, a bit。 Nice to see the scene where Revy is confirmed to have been prison bisexual made it through, as well as her threatening to make Jane her bitch。 *lol* Oh I have missed you, Black Lagoon。Good book。 We get some character development in Rock, who's dealing with the fall out of Roberta's latest visit, while Greenback Jane reappears。 We also meet our cover heroine, who reminds us of Rock, a bit。 Nice to see the scene where Revy is confirmed to have been prison bisexual made it through, as well as her threatening to make Jane her bitch。 *lol* 。。。more

It's been so long! You've returned to rescue me from the tragedy of the end of 'Blade of the Immortal!' Ugh, Benny, I don't like your girlfriend, I never did。 Dutch, I need more of you in my life! Rock and Revy, I can't even begin to elucidate my feelings for you both! That being said, I miss Balalaika and Chang。 But I'm so pleased to see Bao again。 Sniffle。 I'm so happy you've returned! All that being said, I'm slightly confused, so I'll probably have to start the series over and reread it all。 It's been so long!
